Here's what happened this week in Prestige Worldwide.
This week we saw lots of ups and downs: Covid mayhem, Dak Prescott went full Kevin Ware, Le'Veon Bell is running out of New York, Tom Brady can't remember what he ate for breakfast, and Melvin Gordon had to drink his sorrows away for being on the Broncos...Okay maybe it was mostly downs. At least Derek Carr and the Raiders had a good week when they whipped out their schlongs and smacked the Chiefs with 'em. Tyler also had a good week, leading the league in scoring with 133.30 points beating the second highest scoring team in The Sack (128.24 pts).
Quote of the week
“This year is irrelevant." - Jackson Thoreson channeling his inner Adam Gase on whether his championship last year was a fluke.
Fantasy Stud of the Week
This week's fantasy stud of the week goes to Baltimore's Defense, who secured the victory for Ricky Spanish over the Sack. Scoring 26 points, this is the third time that Baltimore's defense has scored over 15 points in a single week. Baltimore's defense was highest scoring non-QB player this week.
Fantasy Dud of the Week
This week's Fantasy Dud is not going to a single player this week. Its going to an owner. Jackson Thoreson, owner of Sam's Chicken Stars, had 3 players combine for a whopping 0.80 points. The combination of Trequan Smith, Mo Alie-Cox, and the Kansas City Defense were projected to score 20.65 points this week. Had they actually met their projections Jackson would have...wait let me check the the scores...oh...he still would have lost by 10 points. Oh well.
Match-Up of the Week 5 Results
This week, we had Geaux Tigahs v. Torero Nation in the match-up of the week. Hutch definitely picked the right game for the game of the week. This matchup was a nail biter and ended 116.88 to 111.82 in favor of Torero Nation. Both teams had players that over performed and underperformed. The Louisiana connection wasn't there for Geaux Tigahs as Joe Burrow only scored a measly 4.32 points. Torero Nation had a solid team performance, with everyone except two players either exceeding or getting to within one point of their projections.
Around the League
Undefeated teams: Air Rick
First Win: CanGuardMike. Looking for a change, Hutch decided to trade Todd Gurley and his namesake, Michael Thomas. Looks like it worked out for him this week.
On the Decline: Grunt, Sam's Chicken Stars
8 out of the 12 teams are either 3-2 or 2-3. You're all mediocre sons of bitches.
Fight to the Death?
This week we will see The Commissioner face Public Enemy #1, Ricky Spanish. As of right now the projections show a 2 point difference with The Commissioner coming out on top. I fully expect someone to die this week, and its not going to be our ever-honorable Commissioner. Sorry Tyler, this is the end of the line for you.
